Our method is that of Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Center in Korea. It is grounded in the scientific study of anatomy in terms of its form and its physics. We are able to teach a broad variety of techniques thanks to the first hand contact with the world’s most distinguished masters and experts; a quality education consistent with the original spirit of Taekwondo: combining taekwondo and good health. Our academy is open to all and offers specific courses for men, women and children at all levels, from beginner to black belt.
TAE describes the use of leg techniques
KWON encompasses arm techniques
DO refers to the concept of the spirit in which a discipline is practiced.
The essence of this martial art is not aggression but rather the promotion of moral sense through respect for others. Taekwondo is a martial art based on mental, physical and spiritual training, seeking to develop strong character and good health.
Taekwondo therefore involves both the external energy of its practice, as well as the internal energy of a fundamental attitude. Practitioners of Taekwondo must achieve the highest level of discipline and common sense. The development of values in Taekwondo is the result of the proper learning of courtesy, respect, humility, self-control and confidence, patience and politeness.
The discipline and its original character aim to develop politeness, courtesy, perseverance, respect for others, loyalty, self-control, patience, honesty and sincerity; which can only be the result of painstaking work over many years.
To learn more come and practice, as one good training is better than a thousand words.
