What is Taekwondo ?
Taekwondo is a martial art founded in Korea which encompasses the use of leg techniques (Tae) and arm techniques (Kwon), practiced with discipline and in a certain state of mind. Having been popularised by its spectacular leg techniques, Taekwondo contains many aspects that go beyond mere sport.
We therefore offer teaching in the rich discipline of the original Kukkiwon method of Taekwondo, thanks to
the energies of our association which is affiliated to the Office of Sports Movements (OMS) in the 11th arrondissement, as well as to the French Federation of Taekwondo(FFTDA). |

Our taekwondo is therefore taught in every aspect of the discipline as it is in Korea.

What are the benefits of Taekwondo ?
The benefits of Taekwondo are numerous, especially for one’s health in terms of flexibility, good breathing, muscle tone and powers of concentration. The essence of this martial art is not aggressiveness, but seeks instead to promote moral sense within each individual, notably by teaching them respect of others.
Taekwondo is a martial art which is founded on mental, physical and spiritual training which aim to develop solid character and good health. The name of the discipline must express the influence of the practitioner on others, as well as their deep-seated attitude. Taekwondo practitioners must attain to the highest levels of discipline and good sense.
In its original form, the discipline aims to develop: politeness, courtesy, perseverance, respect for others, loyalty, self-control, patience, honesty and sincerity – all of which can only be the result of hard work over a period of many years. This discipline allows us to reach an attitude in accordance with the rules of the martial art and to train practitioners within the values of Taekwondo Chong Shin, which is the spirit of justice of the Korean martial art.
In order to find out more come and try it out, since a good training session is worth more than a long text.
We also teach Taekwondo mouhebong, which is Korean nunchaku, a method created in 1979.
