The struggle carried conventional one, two or three steps, and defense technology made by the lower limbs or superiors.

These are effective for educational learning beginners.

The battle over conventional three steps (Shebon kyeurougui) is intended for beginners taekwondo (moukeup).

Regular practice will be exercised in different applications, increasing the reaction time, in particular the control of the distance, the work of the observation (control of light).

The various counter-attacks carried out on vital points and have to be realistic: we should stop at 1 cm from the lens.

This is an exercise for the real battle, all weapons being used natural (but especially the legs and arms).

The different working principles at stake must be studied and analyzed, and then worked in depth.

These exercises increases reaction time, improves precision, and develop control and concentration.

The battle on a step (hanbon kyeurougi) allows to study the various strategies and opportunities to control and neutralize the opponent, to improve the speed, improve control, using various weapons natural to the human body, " increase the concentration of using angles forces which are extremely important.

The work of the conventional battle should be studied in an orderly fashion, especially step by step.

A constant practice can be for different applications, while increasing its effectiveness because of the use of different weapons natural for the defense and attack at all levels: beginner, intermediate or advanced.

The study of the anatomy of the human body, will focus on various areas of impacts that are vital points (keupso).

The conventional battle is accessible to all audiences (men, women, children).

Different priorities are:

  • A proper evaluation of the distance;
  • The control, precision, balance, increasing reaction time;
  • Focusing on the objective;
  • Using angles of force;
  • The impact point (appointed keupso);
  • The respiratory control, which allows a better flow of energy;
  • The concentration of energy on arms reduction;
  • The concentration of light;
  • The work reflexes.

The defensive techniques (ho bang kisul) and offensive (kongyok kisul) are to be carried out with maximum explosion and depending on the level of mastery of each practitioner.

The different working principles must be studied open custody (Yolimsé) or custody (Tachimsé).

Initially a proper assessment of the distance is necessary:

  • 1m20 for adults ;
  • 80 cm for children.

The protocol

  • 1) Both partners greet respectfully.
  • 2) Position Preparatory Narani Joumbi Seugi.


The role of the attacker (Kongkyok)

  • 1) Make Alé Makki and retreating in the right leg simultaneously.
  • 2) Position Aptkoubi and push a Kihap.
  • 3) The attack must imperatively s'arréter to 1 cm from the lens.


The role of the defender (Bang Ho)

  • 1) Start the attack by pushing a Kihap.
  • 2) Out of the axis, and make the response as soon as possible, the control to be perfect.
  • 3) Pushing a Kihap simultaneously with the response.
