Master Guy Friess started on Taekwondo under the direction of a friend Lao (Chaleun Luang khrot-at the time the 3rd dan TKD) going private. In 1980, he met Master Choi Jong Lim 6th Dan WTF and Master Kim yong ho 8th dan WTF giving it a new orientation of the original art Taekwondo. In 2001 - Test in Korea before the Grand Master Park Hae 10th dan Man and Master Kwon Yong Woon 9th dan WTF.

Master Guy Friess is received in Test 6th dan WTF Memory on the theme of Taekwondo for future generations.

In 2002 - Interwiew many masters and experts for the World Press specialist.

In 2003 - Calls to Paris for a refresher course the Grand Master Park Hae 10th Man Dan (Special Adviser to the Kukkiwon) and Master Kwon Yong Woon - Visit of many across the dojang korea.

In 2004 - France calls for a refresher course on Great Master Park Hae 10th Man Dan (Special Adviser to the Kukkiwon)

Master Guy Friess receives from another Third Citation of the World Federation for his contribution to the development of Taekwondo WTF in France.
